The Face Shop, Fresh Fruit Lemon Mask Sheet

Alright, I violated one of the first rules of blogger-dom. I disappeared. And I'm really, really sorry. firefly's been having a rough time at work and couldn't bring herself to do anything while in the middle of it. There was a lot of crying and despair. But, I'm doing better now, and I really am committed to Lip Glosserie, so I thought I'd stay up late and post something, even if it was just a quickie.

As you can probably gather from what I just wrote, I can get really stressed. Unfortunately, stress often shows itself in two ways on my body - my waist and my face. Let's just focus on the face for right now, because, well, it's easier. Anyway, one of the products that makes my face look and feel better are the sheet masks from The Face Shop.

If you're not familiar with The Face Shop, it's a Korean brand of makeup and skincare. The makeup line isn't the most exciting (although very cute), but I love the skincare. In fact, I have these sheet masks in many different flavors - aloe, acerola, etc. But, the lemon is my favorite.

I haven't tried a lot of different kinds of sheet masks, but I like this one because it hydrates my skin and leaves it feeling really soft. What I also love is how it makes the dark marks on my cheeks a little bit lighter. The lightening doesn't last for more than a day, but for a quick fix, it's quite nice. The cutouts in the mask are pretty accommodating to any face size and shape. And, finally, I love the smell. What can I say? I'm a sucker for lemons.

During the summer I put them in the fridge for some extra cooling, but in the winter, I put them on at room temperature. Either way, they're relaxing and a great accessory to my usual supine position on the couch.

Walgreens sells them (and a bunch of other flavors) 2 for US$5. If you haven't tried them out, you should because they're a total WIN.
